Two different settings exist with the same title-page and pagination but with the text reset. In this setting, there are no colons in the head-piece on p. [3]. Bound with: Psalterion tou Dabid (Cambridge : J. Field, 1664), as issued. Apparently, the words 'kai ton allon' on title-page can be in upper case, lower case, or in upper- and lower case.

In Library, 4th series, volume 20 (1939-1940) number 3, 28a; ESTC N505454. In this edition, the second line of the imprint ends "and Religious", and price (in upper and lower case) begins "Price 1d. each, ..." This form of imprint was used between May 1795 and January 1796 (Spinney). Price from imprint: Great allowance will be made to shopkeepers and hawkers. Below imprint in square brackets, in black-letter: Entered at Stationers Hall. Entered in the Stationers' Register 29 June 1795. ESTC records only two copies; one at the BL and the other at the Bodleian.

Close to 100 of the engravings and etchings are by Crispin de Passe, Jacques Callot [La Petite Passion], Martinus Heemskerck, Martin de Vos, Philip Galle, Gerard de Jode, Charles le Brun, and Nicolas Poussin.. A large number of the engravings are by Matthaeus Merian the Elder. An astounding copy.
