Middelbury, Vermont: 26 March 1811.
One sheet. 2pp. A Swift & Chipman representative writes to Morse regarding a proposed printing job, giving estimates on the costs which would be part of an arrangement to help pay off a debt. Morse was a geographer, prolific writer, Calvinist preacher and the father of Samuel F. B. Morse, the artist and inventor of Morse code. Swift & Chipman flourished in 1810-1811 in Middlebury.
